Hi there! My name is Kirsty; I'm 22 years old and from the UK.

I've started this blog because I'm incredibly passionate about disability rights, neurodiversity acceptance and mental health. I'm autistic myself, and I also live with various invisible disabilities and chronic health conditions. Additionally, I'm currently in recovery from anorexia, depression and complicated grief after experiencing several close, traumatic and successive bereavements.

During some of the darkest moments of my life, I've found myself seeking solace through the words of those who understand. Despite the fact that no two experiences are exactly the same, it can be incredibly reassuring to know that you're not alone in regards to your struggles. Therefore, I truly hope that this blog can provide a sense of comfort and community, all whilst challenging stigma, stereotypes, and harmful misconceptions. Everybody is welcome here.

Thank you for joining me on this journey!

-Kirsty
